If you don’t see me here this week, it’s because I’m buried under this big quilt!
I am so excited to finally be quilting this one (it’s been a long time coming!). I absolutely can’t wait to have it on my bed!
Here’s hoping Max will take some good naps so I can sneak in a little quilting time!
A little recap of the week…
Max grew out of all of his quick change trousers, so I decided to make up a new pair
(love that Heather Ross race car print!)
I got some happy mail – a good deal on some Katie Jump Rope fat quarters (on ebay, of all places!), and a fun selection of prints and solids from Hawthorne Threads.
My mom finished this cute sweater for Max just in time for some cooler weather
He seems to like it, though he might like his toy basket more…

Do any of you have fabrics in your stash that you love, but that you just can’t seem to put to use? This is one such stack for me. I fell in love with these gorgeous Yoshiko Jinzenji fabrics a couple years ago. I bought a couple pieces online and then came across someone selling them at a quilt show, way back in 2009 (it took me a while to find this post!)
I’ve spent lots of time admiring each piece and even more time flipping through Yoshiko Jinzenji’s latest inspiring book, Quilting Line + Color
