I made another…

I couldn’t resist! I thought that pretty warm autumn stack would be great as more flying geese, and of course I had to make sure I could recreate the original quilt!

What size are the flying geese blocks? I am looking at doing one with a layer cake of Acacia and am trying to decide whether to stick with a 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ or doubling that to go a little bigger. The smaller size is . . . small and double the work. I love your fall colors! The purples are perfect.

I wouldn’t have thought of purple / as an Autumn fabric (we don’t say Fall in Australia), but it just works!

Wow. I’m blown away. This is more beautiful that I could have ever imagined that stack of warms would turn out. I’m totally in love with it. And how perfect to capture it’s beauty among the leaves. Are you tickled pink? Well, maybe burnt orange? ;)

I’d like to see this one held up. Love Flying Geese. Go ahead and have someone else long arm your quilts, no shame in that. Unless you just don’t like anyone else touching them.
