Love the rectangle variation! Very nice! This will be a beauty.
Kids are so helpful, aren’t they? High five to Max for “encouraging” you to make this – it’s beautiful.
very cool!
what a great variation on the regular square. These would be neat with strings on one side and solid on the other, too!
Oooh, these are lovely!
Heh, well done Max!
love it! How big were the rectangles? I was digging through my scrap bins the other night, and this would be perfect!
My rectangles are 4.5″ x 7.5″
Why didn’t I think of this! Fantastic variation! I’ll be trying this out next time I need to use up scraps for sure.
I love the diamond shape!
My 9 month doesn’t have access to my fabric, but does to BOOKS, so I spend the day re-picking them up since all he likes to do is clear the shelf. Great start on the quilt.
I love the diamond shape! This is going to be a fabulous quilt!
Way to go Max! Great inspiration for your Mommy.
This would be a great use for money mailers, which are 5.5 x 8.5!
Oh yes, this is so cute! Nice work
i love this!!
I might almost like the diamond look more. But I love the squares also!
I am just getting knitting and have noticed you do a lot of it. I always enjoy seeing what you create (quilting and otherwise). I am curious as to what kind of yarn you prefer and why. If you get a minute I would love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks,

The babe is a design genius!
Love the twist on the usual.
I just find you amazing. Love every quilt you make and you work so quickly. I haven’t been quilting long but LOVE your string quilts – diamonds and squares – and want to try one.
Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see you put it all together.
I always leave your blog with a smile on my face.
I have got to make me one of those quilts, they are so gorgeous to look at.
hello,
i like your quilts.

i like following your blog. and I love this version of a string quilt! Even more I would like to know HOW you got the pieced strips so uniform
in matching up. I apparently dont have enough sense to do this on my own. Any Help would be appreciated
wow, yet another sweet string quilt variation! I really love your work, it’s such a source of inspiration for me.
