Queensland Flood Appeal Auctions

Toni of Make It Perfect has put together a very impressive list of raffles and auctions being held around the blogosphere to aid those affected by the flooding in Australia. All of the money raised goes right to the Premier’s Auction Relief Fund for flood relief.

Take a look at the master list of auctions here and place a bid if you can – let’s all come together to help our friends in Australia.

I am from NSW Australia so am not directly affected by the terrible floods but as an Australian they have still impacted my life in some way. I would like to thank you and say how deeply touched I am on behalf of all Australians for all donations and support that has been given during this difficult time. Thankyou Nicole

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about the QLD floods and Tone’s subsequent appeal auctions. It’s nice to know we are thought about on the other side of the world. Love your blog by the way. Cheers Donna

Thanks so much Ashley for your blog post. I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. My house wasn’t flooded, but I live in a suburb that was very badly affected and have a lot of friends who had water up into their roof cavity. We’ve all been so busy helping every way we can. I left the suburb for the first time just today – I couldn’t believe ‘real life’ was still out there!! Thank you so much, your care, concern and contribution are so much appreciated, regards Catherine

Thanks for mentioning this. Australia is supposed to be the driest continent on earth and we have been suffering terrible drought for many years – so to now be flooding is a hard blow to take. I, thankfully am not effected by the flood – I am having an auction on my blog as part of Toni’s campaign – all monies raised go to a good cause.
