Phew! Back home again, and back to a little sewing. I found I had a pile of scraps on my craft table (I mean, our dining room table!) so I decided to make up a few mini log cabin improv blocks. I had fun making small log cabin blocks that I used in the blocks I made for Alissa, and I thought that perhaps I’d make up a bunch and use them for a quilt. I only have 5 done so far, so there will be many more to make before I have enough for a quilt (they’re only 4″ square), but it’s fun to use up scraps and make up these really cute little blocks!
Looks like I need to make some with yellow and blue – most of my scraps seem to be pink and green…

a quick hello from Florida
Too many projects

I really love these blocks! I can’t wait to learn how to do them myself!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that has taken over the dining room table
It’s not like we use it regularly anyway.

They look so good! I can’t wait to see the rest that you make. I am sure the finished quilt will look fabulous and very unique!

am wondering what the red and aqua flower fabric is that is in the second block?
The are so gorgeous! I think they would make a charming doll quilt.
Kerri,
The red and aqua flower is from Urban Chicks 1974 line…
