Happy Friday! Let’s get right to that giveaway winner, ok? Random.org selected number 490, which is Lynn, who commented that she loves polar bears. Congrats Lynn! I know you’ll love these polar bears.
Thank you all for your sweet comments on my quilt. I’m so happy you like it, and I’m glad to hear that several of you are planning your own Converging Corners quilt. (I’m working on a small one using Flea Market Fancy, but ran out of white thread mid-quilting, so it’s been set aside for now until I can get out for more thread!) I’m sure Laurie will be thrilled to hear how many of you love her new line. Brrr! should be available in June, giving you plenty of time to work on some cute wintery projects!
And now, I wanted to show you a wonderful new pillow that I’ve been enjoying for some time now, but haven’t yet had a chance to show you. Heather and I recently did a little swap – some out of print fabric for a little something handmade. I’m quite certain that I ended up with the better side of this deal, and I knew if for sure when I opened the package and found this gorgeous pillow! I love everything about it – the design is fabulous, showing off those cute little fussy cut squares of perfect Echino and Melody Miller prints, and Heather’s paired those with such bright and fun fabrics.
And there’s even a great pieced binding, complete with that great text print that I never got my hands on! Thank you ever so much Heather! I enjoy looking at, and using!, this pillow each and every day!
