I usually like to show a stack of fabrics from various designers, but this time I had to stick to just one designer – Lucie Summers! These are her gorgeous screenprinted designs, printed on a really lovely oatmeal colored cotton. (As you’ll note, a few of these designs became part of her popular Summersville collection for Moda, albeit in different colors).
I’m thinking about paring these screenprinted bits with some other neutrals and a little linen, and hopefully coming up with some fun little quilt. Progress photo soon? (hopefully!)

On a different, but related (by way of fabric and quilting!), note, have you heard that Heather Jones, who blogs at Olive and Ollie, was selected as a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made Audience Choice Awards. This is such a great achievement, as there were over 2000 applicants and only 100 were chosen to be finalists. The winner will be selected soon, and the decision will be partly based on the number of votes received on the American Made website. You can vote once per day (it takes no time at all!) until September 24th, and I know that Heather would be really grateful. Be sure to hop over here to vote and to read Heather’s story!
