I have a good one for you today — you won’t want to miss it! This awesome giveaway is sponsored by Lady Belle Fabric, a husband and wife team in Tennessee. At Lady Belle Fabric they love fabric bundles, and it’s always fun to browse through their bundles to see what’s new!

They’ve recently added Liberty of London bundles to the mix, and you can find those in F16th, F8th, and fat quarter bundles.

You can shop by designer, manufacturer, or by the type of bundle (or precut) you’re looking for. Don’t forget they also have a great selection of notions for all your sewing and quilting needs.

FITF giveaway

Brooke and Rob just returned from Quilt Market and brought back this beautiful fat quarter bundle for one of you. It’s a great new line, Bluebird (this link shows all the prints in the bundle), coming soon from the ladies at Cotton + Steel (I may have managed to snag myself a bundle online recently, so I’ve seen it in person and know it’s amazing!). They’ve completed the package with a mini charm pack, some lovely Tulip patchwork pins and a spool of Auriful thread.

Want to enter? Please leave a comment here (one per person, please!). Feel free to comment about anything (I always love reading something more than ‘pick me!’ though…) – if you’d like, let me know your favorite bundle from their shop. I have my eye on the new Purebred line, and while I’ve admired it on their shop many times, I’ve yet to pull the trigger. I have a feeling it may happen sooner than later though!

Oh, Brooke and Rob have generously opened the giveaway to US and International readers, so comment away everyone! I’ll select a winner on Sunday evening.

UPDATE! We have a winner! Random.org selected comment #138, Carol, who said

Carol says:

“Lots of sale fabrics that I like! And I’d love to feel the Liberty fabrics — I see them all over online but have never seen them in person. Thanks for the giveaway.”

I do hope you’ll take a moment to take a peek at Lady Belle’s shop. And as a special treat, they will be offering 15% off all orders through Tuesday, November 10th with code FITF15. (by the way, I couldn’t hold out any longer and placed an order for the Purebred. Did anyone else find something they couldn’t live without?)

I always love looking at your fabric bundles. The colors excite me and inspire to drop the pressure foot and sew on………

  2. 2
    Liza Miller says:

Lady Belle has such great and reasonably priced fabric! I found out about them from this blog and ended up finding the exact backing fabric I needed for one of my projects. Plus, how can you not love their story? I’m a little jealous that my husband isn’t into fabric ?

  3. 3
    Sophia DeLonghi says:

I love the Liberty prints because they seem old fashioned yet so modern. I also like the Purebred line very much because there’s just something about it that draws me in. The colors and prints are pretty and beg to made into something special.
My husband always wonders why I need more fabric…just doesn’t understand that there is always something special about new lines and different prints and colors.

    Andrea_R says:

Oh my goodness these are gorgeous! I need more fabric like I need a hole in the head, but now my husband is off designing quilts too.

I said “wouldn’t a sudoko quilt be cool?” and he’s off making a pattern. (I get to sew it though).

  5. 5
    Brandy says:

I always love new fabric 🙂 I am trying to get into sewing more. In fact, I just made myself a padded lens case for my camera’s zoom lens!

    Amanda says:

I’ve only gotten to work with a little bit of Cotton+Steel yardage, and it was great! Thanks for the chance to do it again 🙂

  7. 7
    Thea says:

I am in love with Sarah Watts’ “Lazy Day” (especially the neutral blue colorway) from her Honeymoon collection. What is not to adore about sloths and toucans? I could envision a gorgeous quilt with that as the focus fabric–something with simple lines. Bluebird isn’t too shabby either.

  8. 8
    Amy Verne says:

I love all of the highly saturated colors. Need, need, need!

  9. 9

Great fabrics! Browsing through their store I found a lot of bundles that called to me – the cloud remix one would work very well as background fabrics and the doe and architextures was also very tempting!

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!

🙂 OK, I really like the Bluebird collection — and I like that it is an assortment pulled from other C+S collections.

  14. 14

oh my, I love the combination of those patterns. Immediately it reminded me of my Grandparent farm, sleeping overnight in the bed beside the summer kitchen and the sound of rain pelted the tin roof. What a glorious quilt they would make! I am thinking larger blocks of patterns just to make sure they pop. Fab.

  18. 18

All these bundles look awesome! I haven’t been fabric shopping in a while due to budgets, but I still sew super often. I have been noticing on blogs that Cotton + Steel is probably my latest favorite manufacturer. It would be fun to play with a new bundle that could broaden my quilting horizons!

Ashley, I love your work. You are the first blog I found and started to follow when I picked up the quilting bug a couple of years ago. I would love to win anything Lady Belle offers – their shop is lovely. I shop exclusively on-line as there are no good quilt shops in my area – so I rely heavily on photos and variety for my shopping experience. I’ve been curious about the new blues from Cotton and Steel and I’ve got a blue/white backing fabric just WAITING for a front to materialize!! Thanks so much for this opportunity!

    Ann says:

I have 3 fabric bundles in my stash, they’ve been there for years, almost since I started quilting. Somehow, I feel constricted by them, like I shouldn’t use any of the fabric until I find exactly the right pattern to use all of them. That being said, I collected a bunch of this year’s Row by Row patterns, and with the theme being H2O, I’ve been dreaming of a blue and white quilt with lots of sea life represented, so I know right off what I’d do with a bundle of Bluebird!

  68. 68
    Carol Fish says:

Love those fabrics. I would like to win, please.

    Kellie Warren says:

I love the colors. I just bought some beautiful fabrics online aand they arrived a couple days ago, i lovingly unpacked them, pressed some of them and seperated some to put away. I had everything on my brand new hardwood flooring in my sewing room (clean) and I turn around and my granddaughter who just learned to crawl had crawled into it all and was rolling in it all and had some tucked under her chin like her blanket, sucking her thumb. I feel that way too sweetheart when new fabric arrives! She is going to be a quilter I just KNOW IT. 🙂

  77. 77

I’ve been looking at those low volume prints from purebred too… For my comment I will say that I’m currently meditating on making a “preppy the whale” pattern from Elizabeth Hartmann using liberty prints. Can’t decide whether it would be too busy and I should do all but one in solids

  93. 93
    Ruth Lindley says:

Love all these bundles! There’s something so unique about Purebred…reminds me of my paint-by-the-number childhood art.

    Amber says:

I’m plotting a lot of piecing and making stacks based on (stuff) + blue & (stuff) + white, so this would fit nicely with that.

The liberty bundle reminds me so much of the most incredible watercolor quilt I ever saw – just different small florals on white, all squares, lined up to slowly shift color. Amazing.

    MPaula says:

Baby quilts are quick to make and I love to have some on hand for when the need arises. The last one I gave away was red, pink and black and I gave it to a friend who had a girl. The one I have ready now is green and yellow so it will be good for either sex. The fabric to win is blues so will most likely go to a boy child although I could add some of my fabric for a uni-sex offering. I also like the True Colors by Tula Pink for Free Spirit Fat Quarter Bundle because it has the entire range of colours.

  179. 179

  188. 188

love these bundles. I am committed to not buying any fabric for about 6 months – I have a huge stash of older fabric – but if I win some, well, I guess that doesn’t count! The liberty fabric is charming – every once in a while I get a hankering to use pretty florals! Love your blog!
    Gretchen

  192. 192
    Lori says:

Wow! What a collection of bundles!!

With my stash in storage (and nearly everything else we own!), all ready for an international move — now delayed by miracle Baby No. One on the way!, joining us at Christmas, eep! — I’m itching for fabric, any fabric, so I must say everything Belle offers looks super yummy to me. But if I had to pick, it’d be the red, orange & yellow ‘Simply Colorful’ collection by V & Co. I picture those saturated colors in a wall quilt hanging over the changing table…gasp…so bright and cheerful, especially on the dreary short days of winter just ahead. That the collection is more gender-neutral than most is a bonus!

As rocky as the road has been, I’ve learned one thing: unlikely things happen 🙂

I am working on a small pictorial quilt of my brother fishing when he was about 6. I started with a black and white 2 by 3 inch photo–ACK!!! I started the quilt in a class taught by Meri Vahl, a friend and sister member of my local quilt guild. Meri just won Best Quilt of the World…for the 3rd time! Her work is exquisite.

I do more piecing (and some applique); this is my first pictorial quilt. It’s a real challenge to my skill set.

    Susan in Dublin says:

I am now looking to add fresh contemporary prints to my more mature stash, as I do like to work in a scrappy style. The cloud remix and black and white bundles, both from c and s, are perfect, as they each cover a wide range of options in a narrow range. I know with bundles I will love most of the fabrics and have a broader assortment of new goodies than if I try to ‘just’ pick out yardage.

It is all ways good to discover a new fabric source. Each one has a unique way of assembling a collection and that’s always inspiring and insightful. I like the way the cotton + Steel collection has a variety of blues, I think it adds a nice dimension to a project and gives it more depth when the designers take the time to do that. In September of 2009, you introduced me (via your blog, of course 😉 to ‘designer fabric’. I had been quilting for less than a year, and up to that point, the only fabric I knew was what available at Hancocks, Hobby Lobby, and Wal-mart. I was reading quilting blogs, including yours, but the idea of fabric being of vastly different qualities, was foreign to me. And I thought only rich people bought the fabrics I was seeing on blogs.
You shared quilts you’d made with Jenean Morrison’s California Dreamin’ line and I fell in love. Oh, how I wanted those fabrics! All of them. I eventually talked myself into them, even though they cost SO much more than any fabric I’d ever looked at, and bought 1/2 yard cuts of the entire line.
I still occasionally buy fabrics from Hancocks or Hobby Lobby to round out a quilt, but truly *quality* fabrics make my heart (and my fingers) sing 🙂
Thank-you for introducing me to the beautiful world of gorgeous quality fabrics, and inspiring my quilting!!
(oh ~ and, Pick Me 🙂
