Just a little look at what’s been keeping me occupied lately -
Round bottomed fabric buckets – I simply can’t get enough! I made a couple of these back before Max was born – originally we used them to hold diapering supplies and baby socks, but now they’ve been moved downstairs for toy storage, and I thought a few more were in order.
I’ve been posting photos of them on Instagram (filminthefridge) in case you’d like to take a look. I didn’t use a tutorial for these – just made them up based on the size I needed – and since there was interest from those on Instagram, I thought I’d write up a little tutorial for you. I hope to have it up on Friday, should you want to make up a few fabric buckets of your own!

Frog fabric! How perfect. Now the trick will be to get Max to use them.
Love these! What a great idea!
What great buckets. I wish I had some of that lime frog fabric.
You have to stop feeding my sewing queue. Seriously. I always get into trouble when I see what you have been up to.
love the fabrics you chose! xo
These are great! I’m looking forward to the tutorial! I’ve made Maya’s buckets, but these would be neat to have a different style with the fold-over top, instead of handles.
Thanks for sharing your creativity. Max is adorable!
Oh look at how big Max is getting! Love the buckets ~ looking forward to the tutorial.
Great idea! And no pain if you drop one on your foot, either! Max is such a doll. Thanks for including him.

Looking forward to the tutorial. I’m going to a baby shower in a couple of weeks and would love to make some buckets from the fabric leftover from the quilt I made for baby!
