Please help me welcome Marmalade Fabrics as a new sponsor! Tammy has a wonderful online shop filled with all your favorites – lots of great prints and a super selection of coordinating solids. Tammy, the owner and creative mind behind Marmalade Fabrics, describes herself as: “obsessed with fabric; passionate about quilting; a working mom of two active & rowdy boys; wife to creative & talented husband; lover of art, music & all shades of orange; a down-to-earth Kansas girl; and most of all, content with life.”
My favorite things about Marmalade Fabrics are the super fast shipping (and especially the fact that Tammy offers free shipping for orders over $50 in the US!), a really great selection of prints and solids, and the ability to order a variety of cuts (often I really only need a fat quarter, and it’s so nice to be able to order that way). Oh, and I just realized she has a fun rewards program. You earn $10 in free fabric for every $100 you spend (and who couldn’t go for some free fabric?!)
I placed an order recently and was very pleased with how quickly it arrived and how nicely it was packaged. I stocked up on a few additional Lotta Jansdotter Echo prints, some of the new Essex linen colors (this one is my new favorite!), and some Moda Cross Weaves (just because they’re pretty!).
Tammy has generously offered up a layer cake of Malka Dubrawsky’s A Stitch in Color. To enter, please leave just one comment here. If you’d like, you might mention your current favorite fabric line, or maybe a fabric line you’re most looking forward to. I’ll select a winner sometime Sunday afternoon and I’ll update this post to announce the winner.
Updated: Comments are now closed! Winner to be announced shortly…Â Random.org selected a low number this time, #23, Jennifer, who said

I’ve always loved Malka’s fabrics but could never afford her original dyed ones. It’s so nice to have these fabrics available and affordable. They are beautiful.
I can’t wait for the Flea Market Fancy re-release.

I’m loving Backyard Baby by Patty Salinger (sp?)
I can’t wait for Salt Air…and also Vintage Modern…but that’s a while yet, right?!
Actually, Malka’s fabric is my favorite right now. I have purchased some of her hand dyed fabric but don’t have enough to do a quilt. I would like to combine it with some of my Kona collection for a donation quilt this summer. Thanks for the giveaway!

Oh I love Malka’s fabrics. A great shop.
Malka’s collections have been one of my all-time favourites!!! I love colours so much.
Thanks for the chance to win.
I’m loving Echo right now—I needed something new to chew on!
I’m saving up to buy a quitl kit for the Lady Marmalade Large Quilt (pattern by Empty Bobbins) in the colours shown on the pattern (is it called Boxed In?)
What a great shop! I love Lark by Amy Butler, but there are just so many to love!! Thanks for the chance!
What a fun giveaway. I’ve read Malka’s book, BUT didn’t know she has fabric out! It looks lovely. My favorite line right now is the Lotta Jansdotter fabric. Thanks.
I am so looking forward to Salt Aire yardage! And I can’t believe that there hasn’t been more about it on the internets – I’ve hardly read anything about it on the blogs etc. I love Malka’s range too, so exciting to see something really different!
Who doesn’t love a fabric giveaway! Count me in.
What a great giveaway. I am such a fan of Malka’s blog and am eager to check out her fabric. Thanks. Have a great weekend.

Beautiful! I am loving echo right now…but it just depends on the day
i’m anxiously awaiting the release of flea market fancy! thanks for the giveaway
Hot on the trail of Coastal! Thanks for the chance! I made a quilt similar to this layer cake, inspired by Malka D.
Love the Tilly Organic and Stockholm lines. I have two projects using “A Stitch in Color”. I love it.
I love this line! I am currently working with it now. All the prints are so fun. Thank-you for the chance to win. Waiting for flea market fancy : )
Eu gosto muito desses tecidos, mai…Bonnie e Camille estou economizando para comprar
That fabric line looks wonderful! Right now I”m working on too many projects at one time. And, I have too many that need to be worked on, so I’m trying my best to NOT look at new fabric lines. If I don’t know what is out there, I can’t want it, know what I mean? Anyway, my resolve is sort of waning as I can’t wait to hit submit here and check out the new shop.
I have been in love with Amy Butler’s Lark line since I first saw it!! Beautiful!
Thank you so much for the chance to win!!! Marmalade Fabrics has a great site– heading back over there to look around some more!
How exciting! I have actually been coveting Malka’s line, so how exciting that you’re giving it away! I thought it would be awesome to use for a scrappy triangles quilt.
My current favorite fabric line is Amy Butler’s Lark. Such rich jewel tones!
Not sure what it is, but I LOVE Magical Lands by Saffron Craig right now. It may be the colors or that it is just whimsical!
Oooooo I’d love to win those. Hmmm, favorite line. I think my all-time favorite fabric line was Anna Maria Horner’s Bohemian. But I mix all my fabrics up so most of the time I don’t really have any conscious knowledge of what line they’re from! I love a lot of Laurie Wibrun’s stuff — pretty excited about those panda bear prints!
I’d love to win this, thanks for the chance
I’d love to play with new line!! Thanks!
Thanks for the giveaway! I’m really looking forward to some of the prints from Lizzy House’s next line, Hello Pilgrim. Can’t wait!
mmmmm… malka. it’s so delicious!
Great shop, from what I can see so far! Those cross-weaves look like fun to work with.
Right now I am loving some of those super-saturated Kaffe Fassett prints!
I love this line of fabric … so vibrant and happy! My current favorite is probably Echo but that is liable to change at any moment. So many fabrics … so little sewing time ….
I am all about shot cottons / cross weaves at the moment. So pretty!
Looking forward to Flea Market Fancy re-release as I missed it the first time around. Those seed prints are so pretty!!
For me it will have to be batiks. A potential big customer requested baby quilts using batiks and now am loving them.
I love the Echo line of fabrics right now. I am finishing up my first quilt using the entire collection! Thanks for the chance to win.
Wow! I LOVE her fabric. I haven’t seen it yet, but I have saved and splurged on some bits from her easy store before. Thank you for this opportunity – to you and Marmalade Fabrics.
I am not good with color lines, I walk into a store and buy, or look online and certain fabrics just seem like I have to buy them.
I love the bright happy colors
I am interested (this week) in the new curious nature by parson grey
You know, the line I am most excited about is Malka’s! My only wish with them, though, was that they really were batiks on the bolts instead of fabrics painted to look like her original batiks. (Obviously, I am a *huge* batik lover!) But I still think they look beautiful and I’m hoping feel wonderful to work with!
I am at the age where all my friends are popping out babies left and right…these bright colors would make a great 1st quilt for baby. I am looking forward to Salt Air too!
I love, love A Stitch in Color! Kaffe and Amy have hidden powers over me, too! Thanks for the awesome give-away.
Waiting for a baby boy, A Stitch in Color will perfect for a quilt for him. Thank you!
Right now I love Terrain by Kate Spain, but I am anxiously awaiting the new lines that are coming out later this spring with grey and yellow in them. Awesome giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win.

I love Malka’s fabrics – particularly the orange/red ones! Thank you for the giveaway!

I am expecting a baby boy so after two girls, my favorite fabric line right now is anything boyish!
Wow, that Stitch in Color line is really interesting. I’ve never seen it before.

I am not really a fabric line person, I just like design and color and what ever fits into the project I’m making. Thanks for the giveaway Ashley!

How fun! I have to say, even though it’s not normally my thing, I love A Stitch in Color. I have been lusting after it to make a quilt for the baby we are expecting in June.
Great fabrics. My current favourite line is Emma’s flowers from makeover fabrics. Possibly because both my girls love. Or maybe because my dad is a botanist and I have been subjected to flowers in print and in real for a long time.
